Ms. Silkwood is a member of the firm's Land Use and Environmental Law Group. She has experience in navigating all aspects of the zoning and land use process within state laws and local regulations governing matters such as general plans, zoning, development permits, environmental impact reports, and development exactions and conditions. She works with developers, businesses, and homeowners to analyze applicable development requirements, prepare all necessary applications, and advocate their projects in meetings and public hearings.

Ms. Silkwood's environmental law practice is supported by her prior experience as an environmental, health, and safety consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area and her educational background in environmental toxicology, which provide her with superior expertise in many of the areas addressed by environmental law. She provides diverse practical and legal knowledge on regulatory compliance and environmental investigations and remediation.
